Christie Connolly is the Program Director and Assistant Professor of Theatre at Union College in Barbourville, KY. She has a BA in Theatre from Birmingham-Southern College and an MFA in Performance & Pedagogy from Texas Tech University where she received a grant to travel to Abuja, Nigeria, for an artist residency at Playback Nigeria’s Children’s Theatre Festival in 2018. She designed and now teaches Union College’s theatre minor curriculum which includes courses in Theatre for Social Change, Directing & Devising, and Voice & Movement. She directed the World Premiere of the online play Time Zones Apart by Eric Eidson & Lauren Lynch, which was nationally recognized by the Kennedy Center for American College Theatre Festival for Special Achievement in Innovative Technology and Achievement in Student-Centered Experience.
