Accreditation
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Union College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC, 20001, 202- 887-6791. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing is also approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
Completion of Union College’s CCNE accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program meets the national requirements to apply for the NCLEX‑RN® for Registered Nurses (RNs).

The Edna Jenkins Mann School of Nursing is dedicated to providing an environment of scholarly questioning, inquiry, and service. The liberal studies, sciences, and nursing core prepares graduates to address the holistic health care needs of diverse populations in the region and beyond, and to pursue graduate education.

The Edna Jenkins Mann School of Nursing includes two tracks, both leading to the baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Pre-Licensure
The pre-licensure track is designed for an individual who wants to pursue a degree in nursing but who is not currently a registered nurse.
RN-BSN
The RN-BSN track is for the registered nurse who is currently licensed and desires a broader and deeper education in nursing and the liberal arts.
