Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Union College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC, 20001, 202- 887-6791. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing is also approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Completion of Union College’s CCNE accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program meets the national requirements to apply for the NCLEX‑RN® for Registered Nurses (RNs).

NCLEX Test Data:  NCLEX Pass Rate (Benchmark: 80% or higher*)

The percentage of a program’s graduates who passed the NCLEX within one (1) year of program completion**. The NCLEX pass rate is the only benchmark calculated on a calendar year, January 1 – December 31.

NCLEX Pass Rates for the years 2016 and 2020 were calculated using data on first time test takers who tested within one (1) year of program completion. For the years 2017 to 2019, the pass rate was calculated using data on first time test takers within six (6) months of program completion.
